Terms & Conditions
The agreement between us: what we provide, what we expect, and what happens when you leave.
The service
MageEngine provides an online store built on Magento 2, fully hosted and managed, on a monthly subscription.
The provider is [ to fill: legal entity name ], registered in [ to fill: country ] under number [ to fill: registration number ].
Using the service means you accept these terms.
Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of your details and for keeping your password. Activity from your account is treated as yours.
One account per store. Sharing access with your team is fine, and you are responsible for what they do.
Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
Trial, payment and cancellation
The trial is 14 days, with no credit card. Nothing is charged before you choose a plan yourself.
The subscription is monthly and renews automatically. The price you signed up at is your price — any future increase is announced at least [ to fill: days ] days ahead.
Cancellation is self-service, from your dashboard, at any time — no call, no process. It takes effect at the end of the paid cycle, and your store runs until then.
Refunds: [ to fill: refund policy ].
Acceptable use
Do not use the service for anything unlawful, to sell what may not be sold, or to send unsolicited bulk mail.
Do not attempt to breach the infrastructure, work around your plan's limits technically, or reach another store's data.
A serious breach means the store is suspended. We tell you why, and what you can export first — unless immediate suspension is needed to protect other stores.
Your content, and ownership
Your products, images, copy and customer records are yours. We host and display them to run your store, and claim no rights in them.
The platform, its code and its themes are ours, licensed to you for the life of your subscription.
Magento is a trademark of its owners; building on it implies no formal association with them.
Availability and support
We aim for continuous availability, but no hosted service is free of downtime. Planned maintenance is announced ahead; emergency work is announced and then explained.
Support is available [ to fill: hours ] through [ to fill: channels ].
Backups are automatic. Keeping your own export is still a sound decision.
Limits of liability
The service is provided as is. We do not guarantee your store will make particular sales, and we are not liable for indirect loss or lost profit.
Our liability in any case does not exceed what you actually paid in the last [ to fill: months ] months.
None of this limits liability that law does not allow to be excluded.
Changes and governing law
We may amend these terms. A material change is announced before it takes effect, and you may cancel if it does not suit you.
These terms are governed by the law of [ to fill: country ], whose courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
